寺内が学部の卒業制作で行ったプロジェクト。
都市インフラとしてのコンビニ、そしてそこでの食品廃棄の実態をコンビニ店舗でのアルバイトを通してリサーチした『コンビニのアルバイトから考える正しさとは何か』とそのリサーチをもとに行なった制作『コンビニ店舗を中心にした小さな循環と社会』。
きっかけはイタリアのスーパーで期限切れのサンドイッチが売られていたのを見たことだ。都市の食品廃棄の現状に疑問を持った私は、フィールドワークとしてコンビニで実際にアルバイトをはじめた。コンビニは都市の中に分散しており、現代日本のインフラでもある。約10 ヶ月のアルバイト及び各所のフィールドワークを通し、あらゆるステイクホルダーが複雑に絡み合った食品廃棄の実情と背景にある社会的構造を探っていった。仕事としてやらなければならないことと個人の意見の間にあるジレンマを考えながら、近代のシステムに生きる私たちはどうあるべきなのかを考えた。最終的には私自身ができる介入として、コンポストを用いたコンビニの新たな役割・ありうべき姿を提案した。
リサーチを通しとある離島の実践に大きく影響を受け、土に還す＝コンポストをつくることに行き着いた。店舗で出てしまった廃棄を店員が店内でコンポストにし、その土で野菜をつくる。売っている流通野菜に代わり、コンビニコンポストでつくった野菜をそのまま店舗で販売することができる。それを地域の消費者が買う。消費者もコンポストづくりに関わってくれるかもしれない。必要な材料は店舗や地域で手に入れることができる。コンビニ店舗を中心にした小さな循環と社会を提案できるのではないかと考えた。これは出してしまった廃棄にどう向き合うかという、一つの責任の取り方を自分自身がコンビニ店員という立場で考えた結果でもある。自分たちが出してしまった廃棄への一つの責任の取り方として店舗内で店員がコンポストをつくる。コンポストに使う材料は地域の資源を使うので、地域にも広がっていく可能性がある。
このようなプロジェクトは世に発信すべきだと考え、個展を行った。フィールドワークをまとめた壁面展示をはじめ、絵やコンポストの展示、ドキュメント映像を上映、作成したブックレットを販売などを行った。
また、その後はこのプロジェクトを建築設計の提案にまとめた案をつくり、松岡と一緒にコンペにも提出した。

Came in for one specific question and got answers to three I had not even thought to ask, and a look at firstisnotequallast extended that bonus value pattern, the kind of resource that anticipates reader needs rather than just answering the literal question asked is the gold standard and this site reaches it.
